Mach5 was founded in August 2000 to manufacture and then sell effective, intuitive software to Internet savvy businesses and organizations. We provide computer consulting services, email consulting services, website design, and produce
software to help businesses of all size manage their customer email communications.
We employ pepole from the Asheville, North Carolina area and work with consultants across the world in a virtual office space.

Employees and Contractors
Mark Rosen: Mark is the founder of Mach5 Development LLC. He graduated from MIT with a Master's Degree in Computer Science (6.3 in MIT nomenclature).
Mike Landis (mlandis -at- mach5.com): Chief Manager Mike was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee and did his undergraduate work at Furman University. He completed his Masters Degree in Computer Science at Duke in 1995. He has done compiler development for Encore Computer Corporation, now part of Sun Microsystems, and was chair of the Computer Science Department for 5 years at the Community School of Naples in Florida. He served on the board at ArtSpace Charter School, and has been the chair of that board. Mike is a senior partner of Mach5.
Owen Cauley (owen -at- mach5.com) studied at Davidson College and UNCA. He is currently taking over the day to day operation of Mach5. Any of his spare time is devoted to social dancing and classical violin.
Sloan Poe (sloan -at- mach5.com) is a graduate of Warren Wilson College in Swannanoa, NC with a degree in Computer Science and Math. He's from Greenville, SC. He worked as the primary network administrator at Warren Wilson, and does testing, script, and application development. Sloan became a partner of Mach5 in 2004.
Chris Arko (chris -at- mach5.com) is our graphics consultant. He designs and develops most of our logos, site graphics, and banners. If you would like graphics work done inexpensively, but well... please feel free to contact us. Chris could use some more work! He did all of the logos and buttons in our FastStats application.
